Corporate Philosophy

Our Founding Principles

Founded on Solid Compression Research

Founded by University of Waterloo professors, SlipStream Data's content acceleration solution is based on recent advancements in information theory and network architecture research. SlipStream has developed an accelerated bandwidth channel using this innovative data compression, data caching, and network optimization technologies.

Superior Patented Technology

SlipStream Data's core optimization solution incorporates proprietary lossless data compression technology that provides unequaled compression rates. The core algorithm is capable of compressing many types of data, and is particularly well suited to Web data. As a result, SlipStream has applied this technology to create the fastest Web and email acceleration solutions available on the market.

Forward Thinking Leadership

SlipStream’s vision is to build applications that leverage our powerful compression technology. We have become the defacto standard Web and email acceleration solution for service providers offering value-added services over dial-up and mobile networks. Our technology can also be applied to accelerate corporate information systems, delivering reliable and secure access to critical information. As our core technology and services evolve, there will be more products and services added to our portfolio.
